Claim Involving Former Fremd Teacher, Student Being Investigated
Arlington Heights police Cmdr. Joseph Pinnello said they're trying to "unravel" what happened, according to the Daily Herald.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Police are investigating after officials at Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 officials said they contacted Arlington Heights police and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services when they learned about a recent claim of inappropriate conduct by a former Fremd High School teacher with a student, the Daily Herald said. District officials confirmed the teacher voluntarily resigned, the Daily Herald added.
According to Arlington Heights police Cmdr. Joseph Pinnello, the department had jurisdiction in the investigation. Pinnello added that they're trying to "unravel" what happened, the Daily Herald reported.
