Cybertip Leads To Child Porn Dissemination, Possession Arrest: Hoffman Estates PD
A 26-year-old resident has been charged with several felonies following an investigation that began in September.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL — A resident has been charged with felony counts of dissemination of child pornography (victim under the age of 13) and possession of child pornography moving depiction following an investigation that began in September. Arturo Balvino, 26, of the 1800 block of Sessions Walk, was arrested Wednesday, according to the Hoffman Estates Police Department.
Balvino is due to make his first court appearance Friday. The charges were approved by the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.
Police said the investigation into reports of online child exploitation began in September following a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Cook County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Through the course of this investigation, it was discovered that someone at the location in the 1800 block of Sessions Walk was in possession of child sexual abuse material involving children under the age of 13. Hoffman Estates police executed a search warrant at the home on Oct. 29 and identified it was Balvino.
