Daily Grind and Grill: A Place for the Whole Family
A grand opening for the new restaurant at 5 W. Campbell Street will be held on Wednesday, July 17 with a select, FREE menu.
The Daily Grind and Grill is the newest restaurant in downtown Arlington Heights, and will have an entirely free, special menu on Wednesday, July 17 to celebrate its grand opening.Â
During the event on Wednesday, breakfast items - including breakfast sandwiches and all gluten-free vegan products such as scones, muffins and cookies - will be served at no charge.
For lunch and dinner, free items will include burgers, Italian beef and sausage and hot dogs. Fries will also be served with each free meal offered.
All beverages will be served at regular prices.Â
Grand opening hours will be held from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. for breakfast, 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. for lunch, and from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. for dinner.Â
Owners Rhonda Torossian and Keith Kottke have redesigned the interior of the restaurant at 5 W. Campbell, with new wall hangings, flooring and furniture, and created spaces to lounge for patrons to enjoy their new signature coffee, while making the entire spot family-friendly.Â
A new space in the rear of the restaurant can be used for private parties including birthdays, work gatherings and more.Â
The full menu will offer Chicago-style Vienna Beef products, made up of not only hot dogs, Italian sausage and Italian beef - but a combo as well in addition to Polish sausage, chili dogs and more.Â
Salads and sandwiches, chili and soups and a kids menu are also available, with appetizers ranging form tamales, mozzarella sticks and pizza puffs.Â
Torossian is responsible for all the gluten-free, vegan options and fresh bakes them herself. In the near future, pies and cakes also will be offered, and party cakes will be able to be pre-ordered and custom made.Â
Javamania Coffee will be the featured morning brew, with a special "Campbell Street Roast" created specifically for the Daily Grind and Grill.Â
Various coffee drinks such as lattes and frappucino's also are staples of the beverage menu, along with ice tea, hot tea, and shakes and malts.Â
"We have free Wi-Fi here and would love to let the business community know this is a great meeting spot, along with being a place for the whole family to enjoy," Kottke said. "We really are a one-stop-shop for breakfast, lunch and dinner."
Daily Grind and Grill normal hours of operation are currently Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.Â
