Dark SUV With Side Damage Wanted In Fatal Hit-And-Run: Police

Elk Grove Village police released a description of the car they believe was involved in the death of a 62-year-old woman on Oct. 13.

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — Police released a description of an SUV they believe was involved in a fatal hit-and-run last month.

Elke Grove Village police asked for the public's help identifying the vehicle on Wednesday, but did not provide a make or model of the suspected vehicle. Instead, officials said the SUV is likely a dark color with damage to the passenger's side.

Police said the car is connected to the death of Linda Washington, a 62-year-old woman who was fatally struck while walking on Higgins Road at around 6:15 a.m. on Oct. 13.
