Distinguished Alumni Inducted To Prospect Wall Of Fame
Jennifer Morrison, David Kendziera and Chris Petlak will be recognized Sept. 9.

This week is Homecoming Week at Prospect High School. This Friday, the school is inducting three distinguished alumni to its Wall of Fame: TV actor Jennifer Morrison, 2020 Tokyo Olympian David Kendziera and radio host Chris Petlak. There will be a ceremony in the library from 7:30 a.m.- 8 a.m. where the alumni will be given a plaque and they will give remarks. Then, they will spend the day visiting students in various classrooms.
● The alumni will be recognized during the homecoming assembly from 9:40 a.m.- 10:40 a.m. As part of the festivities, the staff have a surprise flash dance planned.

● After school from 3:15 p.m.- 3:45 p.m., Jennifer Morrison will speak with the theater students.
About the alumni:
Jennifer Morrison is a multi-talented actor, producer and director. Morrison has been a primetime television fixture for more than a decade. She was most recently featured on NBC’s widely acclaimed show “This Is Us” as Cassidy Sharp and ABC’s fan favorite “Once Upon a Time” as Emma Swan. Morrison was part of the Class of 1997.

Chris Petlak is the host of The Morning Mix on 101.9fm The Mix in Chicago. His previous work includes being the Associate Creative Director at Liquid Advertising in Los Angeles and Social Media Management for Ryan Seacrest. He co-created and co-starred in the 2016 sitcom The Jamz, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime and Apple TV+. Petlak was part of the Class of 2004.
David Kendziera competed in the Men’s 400M hurdles at the 2020 Tokyo Games and finished 12th in the world. As a senior at Prospect, he was state champion in the 300-meter hurdles and second-place finisher in the 110-meter hurdles. He still holds the school records in those two events: 300-meter hurdles (37.28) and the 110-meter hurdles (14.08). Kendziera was part of the Class of 2013.
