Man Asked Girl To Touch His Genitals For Money: Cops
Arlington Heights police are searching for the suspect accused of approaching the minor Sunday.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — An unidentified man is accused of pulling up to a girl in his car and offering to pay her to touch his genitals, according to the Daily Herald. Arlington Heights police are searching for the individual who approached the child over the weekend, the report added.
According to police, the man drove up to the girl at about 2:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, .while she was walking to a friend's home in the 700 block of East Rockwell Street, the report stated. The man allegedly offered the girl money to touch his genitals, but she ignored him and kept walking, according to the report. The man then drove away, heading west on Rockwell, the report added. Police described the suspect, who was the only person in the newer model, red, four-door sedan, as a white man in his 20s or 30s with short brown hair and a brown beard, the Herald reports.

Arlington Heights police Sgt. Chuck Buczynski told the Arlington Heights Post that the girl, whose age wasn't disclosed but he was identified as underage, handled the situation properly.
"The best thing for juveniles to do in these situations is to keep walking, and if they feel threatened, they can approach the closest house and ring the doorbell and ask for assistance. Whatever they do, they should not approach the vehicle," he said.
