MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill. (CBS) -- An animal feed factory is leaving northwest suburban Mount Prospect after residents complained it was the source of a foul smell.

Prestige Feed Products makes food for pets and for livestock such as pigs and cows. People living nearby complained about odors they said came from the plant—sparking protests and a legal battle.

In court last week, Prestige's attorneys said the company plans to move within the next six months.
