Park District Purchases Property Near ARC In Arlington Heights

The acquisition marks the third transaction by real estate firm Brian Properties, Inc. and the Arlington Heights Park District.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Calling it "a visionary step forward in creating community spaces," Brian Properties, Inc., recently announced it has purchased a property at 750 W. Northwest Highway on behalf of the Arlington Heights Park District. The Arlington Heights-based real estate firm said it marks the third "successful" transaction between the two, following properties at 406 E. Northwest Highway (expansion of Recreation Park) and at 1436, 1440 and 1444 E. Davis St. (maintenance center location).

According to Brian Properties, the property at 750 W. Northwest Highway was previously owned by the esteemed local law firm Massucci & Blomquist. It features a one-story office building that encompasses a building area of approximately 3,861 square feet and is situated on a 13,894 square foot land site. Built in 1977, this property sits at a vital stop-light intersection adjacent to the Arlington Ridge Center.

Brian Properties noted ARC recently underwent a major renovation and expansion, completed in 2020, making the surrounding area "a focal point" for community engagement.

"The strategic location of the property provides the Arlington Heights Park District with a multitude of developmental options to enhance the community's amenities, such as expanding the existing fields, increasing parking facilities, or erecting high-visibility signage.," Brian Properties said in a news release regarding the transaction.
