Part Of Dundee Road Closed After Traffic Crash, Police Say

A crash at Dundee Road and Route 53 caused road closures at 12:30 p.m. Monday. Police said the area will remain closed for an investigation.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A portion of Dundee Road is closed Monday afternoon due to a crash near Route 53, officials said.

All eastbound traffic on Dundee Road from Route 53 and all westbound traffic from Kennicott Avenue was closed at around 12:30 p.m. and will remain closed until further notice, police said in a social media statement.

All traffic in the area will be diverted to southbound Kennicott Avenue until officials conclude their investigation.

Police did not immediately respond to questions on any reported injuries.
