Police Warn Arlington Heights Residents of Recent Locker Room Thefts
Local cops say that several locker room thefts have recently been reported in the community.

Hitting the gym as part of your New Year's resolution? Arlington Heights police are reminding residents to be cognizant of their valuables when working after a recent theft at Dundee Road's XSport Fitness.
"An unknown person entered a locker room between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Friday at the XSport Fitness at 960 W. Dundee Road, and removed the victim's Chicago Bears jacket and car keys from an unlocked locker ..." said a Chicago Tribune report. "A second theft occurred at the fitness center the following day when an unknown person entered a locker room at around 4:10 p.m. ... and removed a lock from the victim's locker, stealing a wallet that contained cash, a driver's license and credit cards."
Police are also investigating several reports of stolen car keys from locker rooms, the story said. Anyone with information about these crimes can submit an anonymous tip by texting keyword 847AHPD and a message to 847411; or call Arlington Heights Crime Stoppers at 847-590-STOP.
