“Utility bills can be complicated and mistakes can be costly. I’m holding this utility clinic to help connect our community members to experts who can help manage these bills and cut down on monthly utility costs,” Canty said. “I encourage everyone to attend this event to become more educated consumers and hopefully save money on these essential services.”
Clinic attendees will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a counselor from the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) to learn how to avoid scams, spot unnecessary charges on gas, electric, and phone bills, and lower their energy and telecom costs. Attendees should bring the bills they wish to go over with CUB Counselors.
