Rolling Meadows Man Fatally Struck By SUV: Police
According to authorities, no charges have been announced in the ongoing investigation, the news report said.
ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — Police said a Rolling Meadows man died after being hit by an SUV Saturday night while trying to cross the Algonquin Road and Kimball Hill Drive intersection at 10:18 p.m., according to the Daily Herald. The Cook County medical examiner's office reported that the victim was identified as Jason Estevane, 21, who was pronounced dead at 10:45 p.m. Saturday, according to the news report.
Rolling Meadows Police Sgt. Mike Spanos said Algonquin Road was closed for hours after the accident.
The Daily Herald added that no other injuries were reported, and according to Spanos, no charges have been announced as the investigation continues.
