Sketch Of Suspect Released In Arlington Heights Luring Attempt

Here's what police said the suspect did after driving up to a female student who was selling items for a fundraiser.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The Arlington Heights Police Department is investigating an attempted luring they said reportedly took place on Aug. 17 in the Dryden Elementary School area, near Central Road and Dryden Place. Police said that around 3:50 p.m., a male suspect (pictured) was driving a red four-door car similar to the one pictured, and drove up to a female high school freshmen who was walking in the neighborhood, selling items for a fundraiser. According to police, he offered the victim money in exchange for a sexual act before speeding away.

The suspect is described as a white 20-year-old male.
