Sneaky Photographer Followed Mom, Daughter In A. Heights Target: Cops
Police released store security camera images of the suspect and the car he drove away in after the incident Sunday.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Police are looking for a man accused of following a mother and daughter around an Arlington Heights retailer and allegedly trying to take photos of them with a cellphone over the weekend. The incident happened at around 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, at the village's Target store, 1700 E. Rand Road, according to a community alert released by Arlington Heights police Tuesday.
The victim told investigators that she noticed the man allegedly following her and her juvenile daughter around the store, attempting to photograph them with a cellphone that he kept at hip level, police said. When the victim confronted the suspect, he quickly left the store, according to police. Witnesses said the man then drove away in a car they described as a Toyota Camry with Illinois registration.
In the alert Tuesday, police released photos of the suspect and the vehicle witnesses saw him enter. The images were caught by store security cameras.
