Suburban Chicago's Got Talent Competition Sunday, July 7
After Sunday, the top 15 contestants in Suburban Chicago's Got Talent will move on to try for a spot on the NBC television show America's Got Talent.

On Sunday, July 7, the second half of the top 30 performers in the Suburban Chicago's Got Talent competition will hit the stage at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, to vie for a coveted spot on the NBC television show, America's Got Talent.Â
The first group of 15 completed their preliminary-round performances June 23.Â
Once the weeding out is completed on Sunday, 15 of the top 30 will be chosen to move on to the next phase of the competition on July 21.Â
Performers scheduled for Sunday at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, 111 W. Campbell Street, include:
- Chinese Takeout
- No Immunity
- Alexandra Guzman
- Riley Mangan
- Wesley Kochan
- Andrew Johnson
- Gabriela Carillo
- San Sandburg
- Viper Fever
- Mary Hilbrink
- Sarah Norman
- MELZ
- Tiffany Streng
- Alexis Nguyen
- Tempest Rising
Grading of the performances is not only dependent on the five judges' ratings, but also on audience input.
The winner will be receive a financial package valued at $2,000 to help the them travel to an upcoming America’s Got Talent competition later this year, in hopes of making it onto the television show.Â
