Winning $300K Lucky Day Lotto Ticket Sold In Arlington Heights

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — If you recently bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket from North Suburban's Petro Mart at 102 W. Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights, the Illinois Lottery urges you to check it right now. According to the Illinois Lottery, that's where a $300,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Wednesday, Aug. 28 drawing was sold. The ticket matched all five numbers — 11- 17- 21- 27 - 45 — to win the $300,000 jackpot, a release from the Illinois Lottery said.

The Illinois Lottery also urges the lucky winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights, the release said.

Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.

The Petro Mart retailer will get a bonus of $3,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket, according to the Illinois Lottery.
