Aurora police asked for residents' help Sunday to identify a man who allegedly tried to lure a 13-year-old girl into his car.

AURORA, IL — Aurora police identified a suspect in an attempted kidnapping shortly after asking for residents’ help Sunday to locate the driver of a car caught on surveillance footage.

A man tried to lure a 13-year-old girl into his car Feb. 12 in the 500 block of Hartford Avenue shortly after being kicked out of a nearby business for “making inappropriate comments” to women who worked there, the Aurora Police Department said Sunday in a Facebook post.
