Aurora Teen Dies After Being Shot At Homewood Buffalo Wild Wings: Cops

Police said Johnathan Brown, 18, died after being shot in the parking lot of the restaurant and that a second teen sustained gunshot wounds.

HOMEWOOD, IL — An 18-year-old Aurora teen who was shot in the parking lot of a Homewood restaurant has died, police said on Saturday.

Police identified the victim as Johnathan Brown, who they said died from his injuries after he was shot Friday night in the parking lot of the Buffalo Wild Wings in the 17500 block of Halsted, police said.

Police also said on Saturday that a second victim, an 18-year-old Gary, Ind., man drove himself to a Gary hospital, where he was treated and released, police.

Police are still investigating the shooting, which took place at 8:35 p.m. on Friday in the parking lot of the local restaurant. Police arrived to find the victim — later identified as Brown — with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
