D131 Board Member Steps Down For Kane County Board Role
The District 131 Board of Education recognized him for his near-decade of service after he stepped down to take a new role.
AURORA, IL — The East Aurora School District 131 Board of Education recognized Alex Arroyo for his dedicated years of service as an EASD 131 school board member at the Monday, February 3, 2025 board meeting.
Arroyo stepped down from his role as an EASD 131 board member on Monday, January 13, 2025, to serve in a new role as a board member for Kane County Board District 7.

Serving on the EASD 131 Board of Education since 2015, Arroyo was most recently Vice-President and throughout the years served on various committees including Policy, Personnel, Finance and Curriculum working to foster educational success in the community.
