Five-Day Meal Packs Added To Student Meal Distribution In District 131

Press release from East Aurora School District 131:

Beginning on Monday, December 21, EASD 131 will expand its meal distribution to students by offering Five-Day Meal Packs at the same time and locations as regular onsite daily meal pick up.

Each Five Day Meal Pack will include ten student meals, five breakfasts and five lunches, that come frozen and ready to be heated at home. Ham and cheese on English Muffin, cinnamon bun, and chicken strips with macaroni and cheese are just some of the offerings, and menu items will change from week to week.

Five Day Meal Packs will include both “thaw and serve” items and “cook and serve” foods.

Five-Day Meal Packs are in addition to the daily meal distributions being offered, and families may continue to pick up daily meals at five on-site school locations listed below.

In December, Five Day Meal Packs will be distributed on Mondays. Starting in January, Five Day Meal Packs will be distributed on Thursdays.
