Girl, 15, Reported Missing Monday: Aurora Police

The teenager was last seen Monday morning in the 400 block of West New York Street, according to police.

AURORA, IL — Aurora police are asking for the community's help locating a missing 15-year-old girl.

In a post on Facebook at 12:47 p.m., police said Brianna Hernandez voluntarily left home around 9:25 a.m. Monday and was last seen in the 400 block of West New York Street. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

Hernandez is described as 5-foot-2 and about 98 pounds with dyed red hair and brown eyes. She has multiple nose piercings and a tattoo on her upper chest, near her right shoulder, police said.

The teenager was last seen wearing a black jacket, black leggings, and gray and turquoise Jordan shoes.

Hernandez is the second missing teenager Aurora police announced on Monday. Police are also asking for the community's help finding Karla Puma-Gonzalez, 17, who was last seen Jan. 20.
