Man Fatally Shot On Aurora's East Side: Police

Police responded to a 911 call around 3 a.m.

AURORA, IL — A man was shot to death early Saturday morning on Aurora's east side, police said. Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a man down in the 400 block of Clark Street and found a man with an apparent gunshot wound.

The man was taken to Rush Copley hospital, where he was pronounced dead after 9 a.m.

Detectives from the Aurora Police Department’s Bureau of Investigations are investigating the killing.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Police Department’s Investigations Division at (630) 256-5500. You can also call the Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at (630) 892-1000 to report information regarding the incident anonymously.
