Man Shot On Aurora's West Side: Police
Police were dispatched for a report of a battery when they found a man suffering from a single gunshot wound, officials said.
AURORA, IL — A man was shot Wednesday evening in the 700 block of Spruce Street, Aurora police said.
When police responded around 5:16 p.m. to the area for a report of a battery, they found the man suffering from a single gunshot wound that did not appear to be life-threatening. Officials said there is no indication of an ongoing threat.
Aurora paramedics took the victim to a local hospital. Officials said no other injuries were reported.

An investigation into the shooting remains active, police said Thursday morning. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the police department's investigations division at 630-256-5500.
