Passenger Sustained 'Serious' Injuries In Rollover Crash: Aurora PD
The crash happened Monday night near Lake Street and Plum Street in Aurora.

AURORA, IL — One woman was hospitalized after a car rolled over and crashed Monday evening in Aurora, police said.
Aurora police and firefighters responded around 6:15 p.m. to the single-car crash near Lake and Plum streets. The car, which had been headed north on Lake Street, lost control, overturned and struck a utility pole, spokesperson Jim Levicki told Patch.
Emergency responders extricated a female passenger, who was trapped briefly, before taking her to a local hospital. She sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Levicki said. The male driver was uninjured.

Lake Street was shut down between West Park Avenue and Illinois Street until around 10:30 p.m., police wrote in a Facebook alert.
