556 Sears Employees Dress as Superman, Break World Record

Sears employees broke a record today for the most people dressed as Superman in one place.

Five hundred fifty six red-caped superheroes gathered Wednesday at the company's headquarters in Hoffman Estates to break a Guinness World Record, which was formerly set at 437. 

The event is one of many marketing tie-ins ahead of the "Man of Steel" release June 14.
