Barrington Bridal Show "Grace Meets Glamour" Scheduled for March 10

Christina Currie Events, Inc. will host "Grace Meets Glamour" wedding affair at the Biltmore Country Club in North Barrington on March 10. The innovative annual event will showcase some of the leading companies in the local wedding industry such as photographers, stationers, musicians, bridal salons, artists, and florists. We’ll be featuring bridal fashion, live music while serving Champagne, hors d’oeuvres, and wedding cakes.  Designer tablescapes, will be showcased and each bride will receive special gifts all throughout the event.

Many bridal expos limit the availability to actually speak with vendors. Our company's goal is to build relationships. 'Grace Meets Glamour' is designed to accommodate discussion and advice with brides and grooms directly, says Christina. We are so excited to begin showcasing some of our favorite vendors! ‘Grace Meets Glamour’ annual boutique bridal affair is an extraordinary source of inspiration and ideas.

Christina Currie’s hope is that with a limited number of guests, and some of her favorite vendors from the Chicagoland area, you will get personalized one-on-one attention that is so important when planning your special day! Each vendor will offer guidance and assure you get top-notch advice and feeling more familiar with the planning process. By the end of the event, Christina hopes to answer your large decision making, such as picking the theme, creating the right mood, floral types, entertainment, and photography.

Brides are asked to donate $5 at the door and all proceeds will go to Wish Upon a Wedding, Chicago Chapter. Wish Upon a Wedding is a nonprofit organization dedicated to granting weddings for those battling life threatening illnesses or facing catastrophic life-altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation.   Our foundation was created to celebrate the courage, determination and spirit of these couples by granting their dream wedding wishes.

She has spent more than 21 years organizing stylish celebrations for hundreds of clients. As head of Christina Currie Events, she is intimately involved in every step of your event process and oversees each event from start to finish. She limits the number of weddings accepted each year and dedicates the rest of her time to milestone events, fund raisers, and corporate social events.
