Driver With Revoked License Found With Illegal Ammunition: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

RETAIL THEFT

Lawrence J. Muse, 47, of the 500 block of Cummings Street, Waukegan, had a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested Dec. 16 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 17, 2026.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

Alex C. Merritt, 26, of the 1300 block of Melrose Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license revoked, unlawful possession of ammunition, and was arrested Dec. 17 at Wadsworth and Sheridan roads, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 28, 2026.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION

Juvontae J. Melvin, 22, of the 300 block of Woodstock Street, Crystal Lake, is accused of unlawful possession of ammunition, and was arrested Dec. 17 at Wadsworth and Sheridan roads, Beach Park. Melvin was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 28, 2026.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Jose Consepcion Brionoes-Torono, 30, of the 2200 block of Country Lane, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 17 at Route 83 and Aptakisic Road, Long Grove. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 21, 2026.
• Anner Suazo, 20 of the 600 block of McAlister Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, no driver's license, open transportation of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 19 at Route 132 and Grandwood Drive, unincorporated Gurnee. Suazo was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 28, 2026.
• Samuel Bobos, 22, of the 1100 block of Northshore Drive, Wauconda, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 21 at 21st Street and Green Bay Road, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 28, 2026.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT TO A PEACE OFFICER

Trevellis C. Thomas, 35, of the 1100 block of W. Ridgeland Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant for aggravated assault to a peace officer, criminal trespass to property, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Dec. 18 in the 0-100 block of County Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 3, 2026.

VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

David R. Bender, 44, of the 35200 block of N. Shoreline Drive, Ingleside, had a warrant for violating an order of protection, and was arrested Dec. 19 in the 0-100 block of County Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 5, 2026.

LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT

Brian E. Millian, 20, of the 400 block of Woodland Avenue, Wauconda, is accused of leaving the scene of an accident, no driver's license, and was arrested Dec. 20 at Hunt Club Road and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth.
