Grove Elementary School student Zoe Nelles also wrote a winning essay. She wrote about growing up in Barrington and the opportunities she has had.

The 2013 Poster Contest winner was Kailey J. from South Barrington.
The three students, who received a $75 gift card, were invited to march in the Fourth of July Parade, which kicks off at 10 a.m. Thursday.
