The Illinois Athletic Directors Association has selected him as the Class 3A and 4A Athletic Director of the Year.

Obususzt will be honored at the IADA State Conference in Peoria on Saturday, May 4. Superintendent Tom Leonard said this is an outstanding recognition for Obsuszt and his leadership of athletics at Barrington High School.
