Barrington Police Blotter: DUI, Battery, Theft

The Barrington Police Department blotter Nov. 3-9.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Barrington Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

DUI

  • Bradley J. Paniello, 21, of 7 Prospect Rd., Lake Zurich, was arrested Nov. 3 for DUI, BAC over .08 and illegal squealing/screeching of tires at Route 14 and Main St. He was released on bond pending a Nov. 21 court date.
Battery
  • Flavio L. Domenech, 35, of 1918 N. 17th Ave. #11, Melrose Park, was arrested Nov. 5 for domestic battery at 432 Lageschulte St., Apt. 3. He was taken to Cook County bond call and issued a $75,000/D‐bond.

Burglary
  • An attempted residential burglary was reported Nov. 9 in the 200 block of Tall Trees Drive when pry marks were discovered on various doors and windows of the home.
  • A burglary to motor vehicle was reported Nov. 8 at Walgreens, 189 West Northwest Highway.

Theft
  • Police took a theft report Nov. 7 for an Apple iPhone 4S at Langendorf Park, 235 Lions Dr.
  • An Apple iPhone 5 was reported stolen Nov. 7 at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St.
  • A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle Nov. 7 while parked in the lot at GE Healthcare, 540 West Northwest Highway.
  • Police took a theft report for a drive off at BP Gas Station, 205 N. Northwest Highway on Nov. 6.

Other
  • Police responded to the 200 block of Castle Court on Nov. 7 for domestic trouble.
  • A jar containing a green leafy substance was found Nov. 5 in a hallway of Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St.
  • A car was damaged Nov, 4 while parked in the lot at 150 West Main Street.
