Santa to Arrive at Deer Park Town Center on Friday

There will also be fireworks in honor of Veterans Day.

DEER PARK, IL – Santa has scheduled his arrival at Deer Park Town Center for Friday, November 11, to visit friends and families in the area. At this annual event that draws families from all over the northwest suburbs, Santa will be led by the Barrington VFW Post 7706 and make his grand entrance via a fire truck arriving at the Deer Park Town Center holiday tree at 6 p.m.

Santa and the winner of the “Letters to Santa” writing contest will flip the switch and help light up Deer Park Town Center. When the lights come on, a fireworks show begins shortly after 6 p.m., signaling the kickoff of the holiday season. In honor of Veteran’s Day, Deer Park Town Center has planned a special grand finale to honor the nation’s veterans.

Families will be able to visit with Santa until 8:30 p.m., personal cameras are welcome. Children who visit Santa will go home prepared for Santa’s arrival with a free pouch of magical reindeer food, while supplies last.
