Little Chef's Holiday Kitchen Creations: Easter

March 20, 2013, 4-6 p.m., Fitness and Recreation Center

Create your own special dishes that highlight Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and Easter. You'll learn about cooking, utensils, safety, and basic food preparations by following simple recipes and eating your creations for dinner! Fee: $32 in-district/$40 out-of-district 

Breakfast with the Bunny

March 23, 2013: 9-10:15 a.m., Fitness and Recreation Center Barrington Rooms A&B

Easter breakfast with the Bunny is an annual Park District tradition that you and your child won't want to miss. A delicious, catered breakfast is served while the Bunny's helpers are busy hiding eggs. Immediately after the breakfast, we'll have our annual Egg Hunt. If you register for the breakfast, you're automatically registered for the Egg Hunt for free! Registration is sold per seat (all children two years and up and all adults must be registered). Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Fee: $8/$10 per child; $10/$12 per adult
. For ages 2 and up.

Easter Egg Hunt

March 23, 2013: 10:30 a.m. Langendorf Park

Hop along all over Langendorf to see how many of the Easter Bunny's eggs you can find hidden among the trees, grass, and bushes! This annual Barrington tradition is fun for all ages - children and parents alike. Inside each egg is a special treat, and throughout the park there are specially marked eggs that mean you've won an extra-fun Easter basket. Participants registered for the Breakfast with Bunny are automatically registered for the Egg Hunt. Note: We respectfully ask parents to limit their children to 15 eggs so everyone gets their share!

Fee: $3 per child; $5 at the door
 (Breakfast with Bunny participants are free!)
For ages 1-8.

Easter Bunny Home Visits

March 27, 2013: 4-7 p.m.

Watch your children's eyes light up as they receive a personal visit from the Easter Bunny at your home, who will present them with their very own basket filled with goodies. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the moment! You will receive a phone call the week of March 17 with the time the bunny will be at your house.

Fee: $20/$25 per child ($15 for each additional child)
 For ages 1-8.
