Two landscapers say they saved the life of a South Barrington man and his dog during a house fire yesterday, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Rodrigo Corona and Eduardo Cruz say they were finishing work on Aztec Court when they saw smoke coming from a nearby home. The two went to the home and saw someone trapped inside. They then took action, breaking a window to get inside of the house and rescued the man and his dog. The home was a total loss, and four cats died during the blaze, the newspaper reports.
