New District 220 Leaders Begin Work July 1
Several staff members are either retiring or have taken positions in other school districts.

Barrington 220 School District welcomes some accomplished educators to important leadership posts in Barrington 220.
Dr. Benjamin Ditkowsky from Lincolnwood School District 74 arrives as the next director of Data, Assessment and Program Evaluation, following Arlene Ciotti, who is retiring. Julie Baylor, a veteran science teacher in Barrington 220, will become chairperson of the Science Department at Barrington High School, succeeding Mark Gilbert, who transitions to athletics director at Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake.
Also retiring is Julie Luck Jensen, the long-time director of Barrington 220's Extended Services Program. She is succeeded by Jennifer Barnabee, an elementary school principal from the Burlington (Wis.) School District. David Dickbecomes the athletics director at Fremd High School after serving Barrington 220 in several administrative posts, most recently as a dean of students at BHS. He is followed in that position by Joe Molloy, a respected English teacher at BHS. Finally, another team member not yet replaced is Lynn Swanson, the Instructional Technology coordinator, who moves to nearby Township High School District 211 as director of Educational Technology.
