Julio’s Cuccina Latina is offering a $170 hotel package that includes one night stay at the Holiday Inn and Suites, free shuttle service to and from restaurant, complementary breakfast, dinner for two at Julio’s and bottle of champagne in the room. Julio’s menu will include a special version of the regular menu and there will be dinner and dance music by Karl Neurater.
Libertyville
Mickey Finn's in Libertyville will hold a special New Year's Eve event in the Amber Room. The event will feature an open bar from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m., heavy appetizers and a champagne toast. Entertainment will be provided by Samadhi Vibe. Tickets are $60 in advance or $75 at the door. Mickey Finn's advises that the New Year's Eve party often sells out, so it's best to buy tickets in advance. Mickey Finn's will be open for lunch on Dec. 31, but the dining room will close around 3:30 p.m. The bar will be open all day and night.
