Odd Incident stops Metra on Tracks in Barrington
Train stopped as police help search for ambulance patient.
Barrington police assisted an ambulance service in trying to locate a patient who jumped out of an ambulance Wednesday evening.
The search led to a Metra train being stopped in Barrington as a safety measure, authorities said.
No accident was reported involving the Metra train, police said.
