A Veterans Day ceremony was hosted Monday morning by VFW Post 7706, American Legion Post 158 and the Village of Barrington at the Veterans Memorial at Cook and Main streets.

Despite the weather being awfully cold and wet, there was a good showing of residents who turned out to honor the veterans.

Patch thanks all the veterans for their service and sacrifice.
