LAKE COUNTY, IL — Drivers should expect delays in the area of Route 59 and Route 22 north of Barrington Tuesday following a crash.

The Illinois Department of Transportation closed Route 59 from Route 22 to Cuba Road at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. It is unknown at this point how long Route 59 will be closed.

The closure is due to a crash, according to Lake County PASSAGE.
