Seining with Citizens for Conservation Set for June 1
The event is part of Leave No Child Inside month.

To celebrate June as Leave No Child Inside month, join Citizens for Conservation in a seining class with CFC’s interns, along with long-time CFC volunteer Tom Vanderpoel. Participants will meet at CFC headquarters, drive to a local site, and use seining nets to see what is in the water. Will there be frogs, fish, mussels, larvae? Be prepared to get wet and muddy. Dress according to the weather. Water shoes/boots or closed-toe shoes are required and must be worn at all times. Bring your own drinking water and use mosquito spray at home.
WHEN: Saturday, June 1, 1 to 5 p.m.
