Teen-Ager Attacked While Jogging Near Lake Barrington
Sheriff's department seeks public's help to find the man who tried to drag a girl into the woods.

Police are searching for the man who attacked a 16-year-old girl jogging near Lake Barrington Friday afternoon, and they are asking for the public’s help.
The man tried to grab the girl in the 26000 block of Lakeland Drive in unincorporated Lake County and drag her into nearby woods, but the girl fought him off, according to the Lake County sheriff’s department. He approached her from behind. The attacker is white, in his early 40s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with light brown or blond hair. He wore a white t-shirt, black shorts and black gym shoes.
