Video: Random Act Of Kindness Caught On Camera In Barrington

BARRINGTON, IL — A Barrington resident was pleasantly surprised the weekend before Christmas by a stranger.
A video posted on their Neighbors app, shows a man walk up to their front porch, drop an envelope, ring the bell and run off.
The mystery man was wearing a red and white baseball cap, tan jacket, white T-shirt, blue jeans and tan shoes.

"This random stranger rang our doorbell and left an envelope with $20 and a note that said 'You’ve been touched by a Random Act of Kindness, enjoy the moment!'" the posting on the Neighbors app said. "Happy Holidays, will definitely pay it forward."
