9th Annual Underwear Party To Help Fund Local Adopt-A-Family Program
The Batavia Lions Club and Batavia United Way will host the event to kick off the holiday season while supporting local families in need.

BATAVIA, IL — The Batavia Lions Club invites the community to join in the holiday spirit at the 9th Annual Underwear Party, benefiting the United Way Adopt-a-Family Program. The festive event will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Pal Joey’s Restaurant, 31 N. River Street in Batavia.
Guests can enjoy an evening of laughter, camaraderie, and goodwill — featuring raffle baskets, special appetizers, and fun holiday-themed drinks. The event is a lighthearted way to kick off the holiday season while supporting local families in need.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a new package of socks or underwear for children up to age 18 or contribute a $10 entrance fee — and those feeling extra generous are welcome to do both. All donations collected will go directly to the United Way’s Adopt-a-Family program, helping provide essential clothing items for children this holiday season.
