Batavia United Way Welcomes New Assistant Executive Director
Lesley Kolaya will help lead the organization in improving the health, education and financial stability for Batavia residents.

The Board of Directors of Batavia United Way (BUW) is pleased to announce Lesley Kolaya as Assistant Executive Director of the organization. She will join Barbara Theuerkauf, Executive Director, in leading BUW to fulfill its mission of improving the health, education, and financial stability of the residents of Batavia.

Lesley hopes to make a meaningful social impact on this community. She led youth and family programs as well as facilitated special events for 13 years and has recently started volunteering at the Batavia Interfaith Clothes Closet. Lesley and her family have been residents of Batavia for 15 years. She enjoys crafting, rehabbing furniture, traveling, and attending volleyball games and dance competitions for her two daughters, Lola (14) and Hazel (10).
