Batavia Residential Burglary 'Does Not Appear To Be A Random Act': Police
Investigators are still determining what was taken in the residential burglary.
BATAVIA, IL — A residence in the 1000 block of Danforth Drive was burglarized Wednesday, Batavia police said.
The burglary, which occurred between 9:06 a.m. and 4:29 p.m., "does not appear to be a random act," police said Thursday afternoon. Officers were dispatched to the house at 4:38 p.m.
Entry to the residence was attempted through an exterior garage door, and the incident was isolated to certain rooms of the house. No was was home at the time.

Investigators are still determining what was taken, police said.
The investigation remains ongoing. No criminal charges have been issued as of Thursday.
