Batavia's Kane Vax Hub To Close
The mass vaccination site, which opened on Randall Road in March, is closing in early January, health officials announced.

BATAVIA, IL — Kane Vax Hub, which opened in Batavia on March 19, will be closing its doors in early January, officials at the Kane County Health Department announced Thursday evening.
The last mass vaccination clinic will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 15. Two clinics offering only the second dose of the pediatric Pfizer vaccine will be held Dec. 29 and Jan. 5. The final two opportunities are available only to those who received their first dose at Kane Vax Hub, 501 N. Randall Road.
Following the vaccine site's closure, KCHD will start offering vaccination appointments at its Aurora office, 1240 N. Highland Ave., in January.

The health department administered 182,768 doses of COVID-19 vaccine at 270 community clinics, as of Thursday, according to the news release.
