BATAVIA, IL — COVID-19 vaccine appointments will be available in May at the Kane Vax Hub in Batavia, but they'll be limited to one only one day, Kane County Health Department officials announced Wednesday.

The vaccination site, at 501 N. Randall St. in Batavia, will be open from 9 a.m. to noon May 14. All vaccines — Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson — will be available for those ages 5 and older who are eligible.

There is a possibility more appointments could be added if the trend remains as in past months. In April, officials originally announced availability on two days before adding an additional two days to the mix, Patch reported.
