Now recommended to anyone, booster doses are recommended for people older than 18 who received the J&J vaccine at least two months ago. People who were vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna doses should wait at least six months from first receiving doses to get a booster shot, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
To make an appointment, people interested can visit KaneVax.org or call 855-452-6382 for assistance. For a quicker check-in process, visitors are encouraged to bring their vaccination cards and a signed consent form for the vaccine of their choosing, officials said.
