1 Dead After Rollover Crash In Bolingbrook: Police

Police said officers responded at 6:50 p.m. to a crash involving two vehicles at Veterans Parkway and Grady Drive.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — One person is dead after a rollover crash in Bolingbrook on Sunday evening, according to Bolingbrook Police.

Police said officers responded at 6:50 p.m. to a rollover crash, involving two vehicles, at Veterans Parkway and Grady Drive. One of the drivers was unresponsive, and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The Bolingbrook Police Traffic Unit responded to the scene and the crash investigation is ongoing.

Police said preliminary investigation has revealed that an SUV traveling northbound on Grady attempted to cross Veterans Parkway when it was struck by a sedan traveling westbound on Veterans Parkway. The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Will County Coroner's office said the driver was an 80-year-old Bolingbrook man but did not release his name.

The driver of the sedan was transported to the hospital for evaluation, police said.
