2 Bolingbrook Cheerleading Teams Qualify for State Finals
The Raiders enjoyed a strong showing at the recent BHS Invitational and next are headed to the Illinois Cheerling Coaches Association state championships Jan. 4-5 in Springfield.

Two Bolingbrook High School cheerleading squads qualified for the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association (ICCA) state championships in Springfield Jan. 4 and 5 with high finishes at the recent BHS Invitational.
The Coed Varsity squad finished second at the Invitational under the guidance of coaches Tammy North and Kiersten Reposh.
Team members are Lena Nasman, Cristina Cabral, Tania Biggs, Alexia Ainoo, Molly Makowski, Kiersten Wnek, China Orr, Cayleh Smith, Emlee Nowicki-Goff, Brianna Conley, Takia Jones, Ashley Carter, Admiria Roman, LaT’ea Durden, Lauren Schorsch, Adrianna Bonner, Jada Owens, Courtney Morrison, Moriah Adjepong, Jaclyn Lynch, Janell Bell, Courtney Barnes, David Burton, Darrion Cole, Sam Showalter, Carl Branigan and Aliyia Smith.

The sophomore squad also qualified in the underclass division under the leadership of coach Amanda Huggins.
