2 Shot At Remington Lakes Sports Complex: Bolingbrook Police

A Crest Hill man was shot in the face and another man was shot in the arm, police said.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Two people were shot near Remington Lakes Sports Complex Saturday after police said a fight broke out in the parking lot.

Just before 11 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of shots fired at the facility, 811 Remington Boulevard, and found a 19-year-old Crest Hill man with a gunshot wound to the face.

He was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers learned that a second victim, a 20-year-old man, was also at an area hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm.

Police said the victims were at the park on Remington Boulevard when a fight broke out in the parking lot. The fight escalated and shots were fired, according to police.

Officials said the people involved in the fight were at the park after hours and were not at an authorized gathering.
